This Lamborghini is a good find on Ebay. It took some patience because the auction was six days. I passed on a couple of auctions before on this same type of car. Patience is the key to truly finding the best deals. The auction end price for this car was $13.49 plus $4.70 for shipping.
During shipping the left mirror was disconnected. I was able to attach it back by pressing it in. Besides that, there is nothing wrong with this car.
Carrera brand slot cars have a high level of detail. From the vivid paint colors, to the intricate engines. To easily recognize the cars always look for the driver. The driver is a key piece of the brand.
eBay can be a perfect place to find slot cars at a decent price. Verify slot car prices against the manufacturer’s website first. Also, it’s easy to overspend if proper research isn’t done. Spend time understanding the average prices of slot cars. Car prices can be very broad and expensive depending on the brand. In addition, some sellers will test the market by intentionally over pricing cars to see if they will be purchased.
eBay Bidding Strategy
Know the maximum amount you are willing to spend before bidding. Equally important don’t get caught in bidding wars, this will increase chances of overspend. Maximum bids should be put into the system for automated bidding. This will keep you from having the impulse to keep raising the bids.
Tunez speaker is a perfect addition to Scalextric Arc phone app. The bass level of the speaker gives it the sound of real racing. The speaker is Bluetooth so it will work with iPhone or Android.
Connecting the speaker is quick and easy. It takes about 5 minutes to get the speaker working. Turn on your phones Bluetooth and turn on the speaker. The speaker shows in your phones Bluetooth selection and that’s it.
Speaker volume can be controlled from the Bluetooth device and by pressing the buttons on the speaker.
Easy reading in the small instructions booklet makes the setup easy.
Small Carrera cars are a good way to get into the hobby. The first track I started with was a track from Hobby Lobby that I used the 40% coupon on. If you aren’t familiar with the Hobby Lobby coupons download the app for the store on your smart phone. Once you have the app look for the coupons section. You can only use the coupon on one item.
This Mercedes I got on EBay brand new for around $15. The Hobby Lobby stores in my area don’t carry these cars individually anymore. It was a brand new car sold by user power_hobby.
I run these 1/43 cars on my Scalextric 1/32 track. Due to their small size I can get these cars up to full speed on the straights. To get them to work I had to shave the both sides of the guide so it would fit in the slot.
This 488 Ferrari was won on Ebay for $25; I love when I find good deals. The Ferrari had a broken wing and missing both mirrors. The auctions like this one are where you’ll find really good cars
The first thing I did after receiving the 488 Ferrari was put the wing back on. I used Super Gel Gorilla glue, it dries strong and is clear. I let it dry for about 2 hours before playing with the car. You’ll see from the pictures you can’t tell where it was glued on.
The car drives like a brand new car, I’m assuming the first owner rarely played with the car. The stickers show no wear and the paint is very good. There were no modifications done to the car at all.
Intention is one of the most important concepts to master. There are two types in digital marketing. One type of intention is what you expect a customer to do. The second type is your customers own intent. There must be a common balance between both intentions.
Intention of forms, apps and brochures
Purpose must be clearly defined within websites. If not, part of the overall web strategy will not be successful. Brochures, forms and applications must all have a purpose.
Brochures are created to list important information. Provide value quickly by allowing brochures to be simple, easy to read and download.
Apps provide interaction to customers, also entertainment. Entertainment keeps the focus of a customer. Focus allows for an opportunity to influence a decision.
LaFerrari is one slot car that I’ve waited for quite sometime to get. These cars tend to go for around $50, but I was able to get one for $25. Carrera did a really good job on these cars. The detail with the mirrors and vents is amazing.
The size of the car is 1/32 but it feels a little bigger. It seems like it’s a little heavier than a Scalextric car. This is truly the first new Carrera 1/32 car I’ve purchased and I’m very proud of it.
The smoothness of this car is amazing as it goes around the track. I’m assuming this has a lot to do with the placement of the magnet in the chassis. It seems to stick to the track very well even as the car gets up to top speed.
It’s a quiet car, unlike the rough sound from older slot cars. The engine sound is kind of a unique winding noise that matches the cool look of the car. There’s no lights on either the front or the back but there is a driver.
A slot car is a great way to collect cars without spending on the real thing. I’m getting near 30 slot cars in my collection and made some extreme purchases. These types of purchases taught me some lessons.
A used slot car is just as good as new
Used can be a great way to get cars at half the price of new. There may be some scratches but in most cases they are unnoticeable. If you are okay with an occasional mirror missing but everything else looks fine you will find a treasure in the used market.
Slot car collectors seldom are harsh on their cars so in many cases the car will look new. These types of cars are harder to find, they will be owned by someone who has decided to no longer be in the hobby.
A good place to start with looking for used cars is www.ebay.com. If you don’t know much about cars it’s a good idea to start at scalextric.com or carrera-toys.com. This will help you get an idea of how much a car costs new so you don’t over bid on cars.
